UPDATED #2: I actually forgot to close this on the 18th since I've been sick all week, however the same rules apply. I'll allow last minute submissions until tomorrow at midnight, however. After that SUBMISSIONS ARE CLOSED.
UPDATE: We will be keeping this open until ONE WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS. So by December 18th, at 11:59 PM PST, this will close. Please be aware this is not first come, first serve. You will be accepted based on your artistic level and how developed your character is. You have a month to send in your OC as well as practice your style and write a bio if you haven't done so already. Good luck!
That's right, we're looking for one more to place in our current game. Why do you ask, because unfortunately, Delilah Warner will not be joining the ranks due to her creator being busy with other things. Don't worry, BBG4ya, there's still room for you in the second game
Now...there are certain specifications we have to look out for. I suggest you refer back to this journal to know what those specifications are. There are a few that aren't listed, which I will list:
You must have a good grasp on Danny Phantom style. We're not looking for perfection as no one can draw DP style perfectly. However if you can draw pretty darn close to the style, that increases your chances of having your OC in the game.
You must have some sort of drawing/photo editing program. It doesn't have to be Photoshop or Sai, but something that uses layers as they will come in handy while making different emotions for your OC. Also, try your best when outlining/coloring. Even if the style is close to perfect, we can't accept anything that's been shoddily colored.
You must have AT LEAST one day a week of availability. One reason why this project is taking so long is because a lot of our members don't have the time to work. We understand life does get in the way and we won't hold it against you. However, if you're serious about coming on board this project, you must have some free time to work. You don't have to be a ren'py guru or good at coding; we take care of that for you. What we really need is your scripts and emotion sheets. So if you don't think you can do this, please don't apply.
If you don't have Skype, get one. Our main communication is by Skype. You don't HAVE to get one if you don't have one, however. But we will need to keep in touch with you, especially when it comes to discussing ideas and sending files.
While we don't exactly NEED another bachelorette, losing Delilah knocks us down to 9 and it's just weird to have an odd number. If no one responds or fits our criteria, then we'll just go with 9 anyway. Good luck!

A small update
So it has been a year since we've last informed you guys about the update of the game. One I can say it is still being made, just we've all have become extremely busy. I have semi-sad and good news, the sad is we were recently informed of the departure of one of our bachelorettes for the first game, Cassie Whitworth. Although, this is sad news to see a character with so much potential go from the first game she will most likely be in the second game instead as a new bachelorette. With this, it will give Funkatronicdea (https://www.deviantart.com/funkatronicdea) more time to flesh out the character and work on it when they have more free time. Hey guys, Jax here with another update!
We've still been bumping along with the game. Lately we've hit another slow patch due to having not much story wise to insert. We know that with Hurricane Irma and other things going on, it's been difficult to keep up with consistent work on the game. For the past few months, Twilightprincess06 (https://www.deviantart.com/twilightprincess06) and I have been at a standstill because we haven't had fresh material to work with. So those who are a part of the game, please send anything in when you can!
HOWEVER! In this spare time we've managed to get ourselves an awesome coder, who has been ironing out kinks as well as providing us with a structure
Progress is rolling again
Hey all! As you know we've had quite a few bumps and walls while creating this game, mainly because with the amount of contributors we've had since the beginning either leave or have gotten busy. And we understand, life is first priority over everything else. Twilightprincess06 (https://www.deviantart.com/twilightprincess06) is doing school part-time and I'm at the end of my college days. While I'm only doing two classes, most of my time is eaten up by my internship, studying for the exam required to get my Vet Tech license, and of course, horseback riding.
Unfortunately, we've gone months without adding anything because we had nothing to go on. It's an equal mix of us stumbling alon
Current Update
We have been at a standstill for quite sometime. We've recently lost Carrie, and our newest addition Nikki from the line of bachelorettes. It's sad that DivineSpiritual (https://www.deviantart.com/divinespiritual) has left the date sim, but we still want to complete this game. So we have some newest additions to the game, two new ocs named Adriana Santana and Gwendolyn McBride. There will be pictures of the new ocs later on. If anyone has the time, they can note or leave a comment if they want their oc apart of the game.
